Who This Is For

Agents who work specific neighborhoods and want to appear when buyers search for them

The course is built around a specific type of real estate agent: one who serves a defined geographic area and wants to build online visibility within that area without outsourcing SEO or learning technical web development.

Fit Criteria

The course fits agents in this situation

You have a defined service area

You work a specific set of neighborhoods, zip codes, or districts. You are not trying to rank nationally or across an entire metro. Your business is hyperlocal by nature.

You have a Google Business Profile or are willing to create one

The course assumes you will be working on a real GBP listing throughout. You do not need to have a configured profile before starting — the first module covers setup from the beginning.

You have a website or web presence

Module 3 covers neighborhood content pages. This requires a website where you can publish content. The course covers what to create and how to structure it, not how to build a website from scratch.

You handle your own marketing or want to understand it

The course works for agents who manage their own marketing and for agents who work with a marketing person or assistant. In either case, the course provides the framework for what to do and why.

Not a Match

The course is not designed for these situations

Agents seeking a national or metro-wide SEO strategy

The course is built around hyperlocal signals. If your goal is to rank for broad market terms across a large geographic area, the tactics covered here are a small part of a larger strategy that is not addressed in this course.

Agents looking for paid advertising instruction

The course covers organic local search visibility. It does not cover Google Ads, social media advertising, or any form of paid placement. Those are separate disciplines not addressed here.

Agents who want someone else to do the work for them

The course teaches you to do the work yourself. It does not include done-for-you services, profile management, or content writing. It is an education course, not a managed service.

Prerequisites

What you need before starting

Real estate agent reviewing a checklist before starting an online course
A Google Account

Required to create and manage a Google Business Profile and to access Google Search Console.

A licensed real estate practice

The course is built around the specific context of a licensed real estate agent. The examples, exercises, and templates assume you have an active practice.

A website where you can publish content

You will need the ability to create or edit pages on a website. This can be a personal agent website, a brokerage-provided site with page editing capability, or a standalone site you control.

A defined service area

You should know which neighborhoods or zip codes you primarily serve. The course exercises are built around applying concepts to your specific area, not hypothetical locations.
